Personalized programming may consist of adding pronunciations, additional vocabulary, dialectal differences, custom symbols, code-switching capabilities, and more. Our presentation will cover what is currently available in 3 of the top AAC apps, workaround strategies, and needs for further development.

Seminar Objectives:  Participants will learn: 1. How does the availability of diverse features relate to and impact AAC users? 2. Child development in personal awareness 3. Feature Matching 4. Current diversity and workarounds within AAC apps 5. Future developments on the horizon
