Bruce Baker AAC Globalization Initiative
In 2021 PRC-Saltillo established, in partnership with ISAAC International, the Bruce Baker AAC Globalization Initiative to honour Bruce Baker’s legacy and contributions to the field of AAC. The award receives applications from individuals or teams who are interested in developing vocabulary files, translating AAC systems, and creating materials in languages in which AAC is under-represented. ISAAC Lifetime Achievement Award
This award, new in 2014, has been created to honour an individual, linked with the field of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), who has made a significant lifetime contribution to the enhancement and growth in human knowledge, and the overall improvement of the human condition.
ISAAC Outstanding Consumer Lecture Award
This award provides a platform for an outstanding person who uses AAC to present a topic in which they have special expertise. Award: Featured presenter at the Biennial Conference and a cash award of $5,000 CAD.

ISAAC President’s Award
Given at the discretion of the ISAAC President, with advice and input from the Executive Board, to acknowledge extraordinary support of ISAAC by an individual.
ISAAC Distinguished Service Award
To recognize an outstanding contribution to the field of AAC by a group or individual through clinical work, information /knowledge, distribution and research.
ISAAC Fellowship Award
Honours an ISAAC member who has earned distinction within the ISAAC community. The title Fellow of the International Society of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (ISAAC) shall be given for the life of the recipient and may be indicated and abbreviated as F.ISAAC.
The Bridge School / ISAAC Teacher in Residence Award

Offers an opportunity to learn and teach AAC methods through a teacher-in-training program in an educational center at The Bridge School centre of excellence in the United States. More information is available on The Bridge School website, here.

AAC Editors’ Awards
