Interpreting at ISAAC 2018

We are excited to be offering an interpreted stream in Standard Mandarin Chinese at this year’s ISAAC conference on the Gold Coast. Interpreted sessions are marked in the conference program. This year we are using an off-site interpreting service (Interprefy) that delegates can access via a smartphone app. The interpreters will be translating a small number of presentations:

• From English to Standard Mandarin Chinese
• From Mandarin to English.

Information about the Interprefy app is provided in the document below. Delegates without a compatible mobile device will be able to hire one from the reception desk on the ground floor of the convention centre.

Please ask us about casual interpreting at the social events, as some of our volunteers speak Chinese and are happy to assist where possible. To make your time at the conference as enjoyable as possible, we are also happy to provide advice on Mandarin-speaking facilities and restaurants around the Broadbeach Area.
