Mobile phones, photos, videos

During presentations

As a courtesy to other attendees, please turn off your mobile (cell) phones and personal digital assistants or put them in silent mode during all presentations and workshops.

Photos, video and audio recording of presentations and workshops during ISAAC Conference Cancún is strictly prohibited, unless prior authorization has been provided by ISAAC. Presenters are able to provide this authorization within their own session, if they so agree.

Spanish audio translation

For those of you who want to listen to simultaneous Spanish audio translation during the main conference, you will need to bring along personal headphones (in-ear or over ear) to attach to your smartphone/table device.

Outside of presentations

During conference hours, common and non-presentation public areas of the conference venue are deemed to be a public space pursuant to relevant privacy legislation, and photography and video recording are allowed and encouraged.

By attending the conference you give permission to have photos or video taken in these public spaces and shared. They may be shared in the Conference Cancún app photo gallery where all attendees will be able to enjoy them. ISAAC may use those photos for educational or marketing purposes, including on the website, in eblasts, in presentations or videos and on social media.
